Cross your fingers and wish really hard

8 Mar

It looks like Mr. Fig lives again!  I almost manage to kill of my fig tree every winter. . . and every spring I am pleasantly surprised. . . He was starting to bud right before that last frost this spring, but then all of his leaves withered and died. . . I was certain that he was done for. . .but it looks like he may have survived if this one bud is any indication.

And, now for gratuitous baby pictures. . . note to self. . . babies move quickly.  I either need better lighting, or to just use the dang flash. . .

Yay for the fig tree! Aww, the baby pictures are so cute! Claire looks like such a happy mama. 🙂

Doesn’t she look like it though? She was so spoiled, and it was funny to watch her have to change Anthony’s diapers when he was little, but she definitely has the hang of things now. . . she still whines a lot, but I think she’s pretty happy overall. Ha ha ha ha.

    Fig trees are pretty tough!

Thank God for that. You really would swear that I’m trying to kill it, but I baby that fig tree and hope every year that it will survive, longing for the days when it is bigger and stronger, and I won’t have to worry so much.
