Cut the Crap. . . umm, scraps

16 Jan

It’s always fun when you can take random crap from around your house and turn it into something real.  Yesterday, I took a few minutes to turn random crap into fun, crinkly tag toys. . . I started with one for Claire’s on-the-way baby and made another two after that. . . and it sounds like I’ll need to make another before too long!  If my family knows one thing, it’s how to make babies!

This post could just as easily be titled “I found a Pinterest idea that actually works!” I originally pinned one created by Miss Lovie, but there are tons of them out there. This project really was as easy as everyone says, and I can’t seem to stop playing with them, so I imagine that a baby would love it even more!

So cute – I have an entire box of all sorts of ribbons, and these are indeed fun to make. I need to make a bunch more now!!

That was one of the things that I loved. I had ribbon that had been dragging around for years, and I was able to use it all and make something cute with my scraps! I found out last night, though, that I’m going to have a new niece or nephew, and I’m out of ribbon now! Looks like I’ll have to go buy some more. 🙂
